We Are Jalan Technologies
Jalan Technologies (JT) was launched in 2016, when the brain behind the company, Jaikishan Jalan, felt that premium engineering talent, that was also passionate about product building, was hard to come by. Jai, who had been a pro at building and leading engineering teams for a decade, sensed that either product engineers lacked competency or they weren’t as tuned in on product engineering as industry professionals should be.
This gap in the right talent sparked the birth of JT from a mere garage. Jai took up the challenge of finding the best engineering talent and bringing them to a common platform; a work environment that was set apart and had the potential to be a game-changer. Within six months, Jai’s team was working with three enterprises on their product development projects.
How do we do it? At JT, we hire only one percent of applicants. We have an eye for engineers with strong problem-solving skills and an intense passion for product engineering. We believe our focus on the right things is what makes us tick.

On a day to day basis, I run the company with professionalism, backed by strong family values. We take limited engagements so we can give 100% to each of the engagements. This has been consistently recognized and appreciated by our clients since the inception of the company and has been deemed a strong differentiator from our competitors.
I deeply care about the team members at Jalan Technologies and do everything in my power to empower them so they can work on products they feel most passionate about. Our team members’ needs and feedback helps to design our policies.
I am also an engineer at heart and write software daily. This keeps me grounded, and constantly keeps me on my toes so we can invest in R&D and tools to build quality products.
Jai is a husband, father to two kids and a decade of experience building software products such as Bing, Xbox, Google Maps and others. He is an ISU Ph.D. dropout and IIT Dhanbad Gold medalist.
